Abstract: The COVID-19 Pandemic has produced huge economic shocks around the world due to company delays and shutdowns, resulting in one of the worst financial crises in history. India is one of the countries that has been particularly hard hit by the deadly new coronavirus. Despite the fact that the Pandemic has had a significant impact on the insurance business, the future appears bright. Innovative goods and new service-based models can help the industry expand. During the pandemic, this chapter examines the problems and prospects for the Indian insurance industry.
